Fruit Bat Falls is one of Old Telegraph Track's most iconic sights. A spring-fed flow cascading steadily over top of flat edged walls into a broad, expansive natural lagoon. Take some time out to explore the clear pool, soak amidst the North Queensland scrub, and familiarise yourself with one of the most beautiful natural pools in Australia. Located in the Jardine River National Park, Fruit Bat Falls provides a refreshing break from the dust. You can swim in the massive pool under the falls. The falls are created by the waters of Eliot Creek cascading off a large slab of rock and dropping down to the pool below. This creates a very wide curtain of waterfalls.
