Best places to see jacarandas in North Sydney - Clark Park, Milsons Point by Karen Au Yeung November 7, 2021 As I was thinking back to all the places I went to capture the jacarandas, I was keen to venture out to somewhere different from the famous jacaranda street in Kirribilli (aka McDougall St). Head to North Sydney to see an amazing array of Jacarandas, and specifically the suburbs of Milsons Point, Lavender Bay and McMahons point. Lavender Bay: This suburb becomes an entire shade of purple with stunning views of the bridge as a backdrop.

Recently I discovered Clark Park, a picturesque and restful green space on the corner of Harbourview Crescent and Lavender Street.. Swaths of lavender plants and purple jacaranda trees filled the cityscape before me. Taking a weekend stroll in Kirribilli can be rewarding during springtime..From late October to November jacaranda season is in full swing in Sydney, and othe. The main jacaranda streets - McDougall Street, Carabella Street, Kirribilli Ave - are an easy 10-minute walk from Milsons Point station. If you're in Kirribilli, pop by Cool Mac - big brother to Kūrumac on Marrickville's Addison Road - for a delicious eggplant katsu 'sando'. Once you're in Milsons point walk to the suburb Kirribilli. If you're here in early Spring (October/November) you'll be able to see the beautiful purple Jacaranda trees in full.
