The Lambton Swimming Centre was developed as the City of Newcastle's (CN) first inland swimming pool and was opened in 1963. The council has tendered for a contractor to complete the work. Lambton Pool and Aquatic Playground take care of both the heat and the fun. The aquatic playground includes a fantastic play structure, large tipping bucket, water jets, concrete splash pad and water slides all in one contained space.
