Review of Megalong Valley Farm. Reviewed 29 January 2012. A beautiful place to camp with lots of wildlife and farm animals around. The views from the campsite are spectacular and the area is very peaceful. However, the amenities are woeful, a long arduous trek to a drab building containing two toilets and two showers. Blackheath Glen, Megalong Valley, is a beautiful little camp set among ferns and tall gums at the head of Megalong Valley. This is a handy place to pop up the tent or pull in the van or trailer if you are traveling across the mountains or exploring the region, as it is only a short drive out of Blackheath. There are ample opportunities for 4X4.
