Surmounting Mount Piddington Road and passing other streets, we reached Fairy Bower Reserve/Mount Piddington which was the starting point for the trek; situated on a lonesome hill. At the starting point of the hike, there were blue signs indicating which paths to take and in this case, turning left to the sign will lead us to Fairy Bower. Park in the loop at the end of Mt Piddington Road, and hike 1km/10 min down the Horne's Point fire trail to the lookout. Areas are variously accessed from here by descending the steps to the left of the lookout as you face out. The walk to Mount Piddington can be as easy as you want and as hard. It's not too hard to climb it with packs on, then do a 200m bush bash due east along the ridge to the firetrail. Start 17m left of 'Infidel' opposite the Cottage Boulder. It's located at Mount Piddington in Mount Victoria, and there are a couple of other trails in the area. Cox's Cave is was a sort of hidden gem where I couldn't find much more information than a blog post - but the blog post I did find on the Walk My World blog was extremely detailed and helpful. They also got a couple of better photos. This great loop walk is short but filled with great views the whole way along and interesting caves. To get to Coxs Cave you have to climb a ladder at the halfway point.
