This beautiful collection of photos, captured by the keen eye of Peter Glenane, documents the incredible transformation of historic Princes Pier in Port Melbourne and the heritage 1935. Princes Pier on Melbourne's foreshore is the second-largest timber-piled wharf structure in Australia. It was originally completed in 1915 and served as a major arrival point for new migrants until the late 60's. No longer operational, part of the pier has been restored, leaving the rows of original timber pylons.
