On the Chichester to Midhurst line, there were stations at Lavant and Cocking. But more unique to Singleton itself, is the story behind its lost railway station which was built in 1881. Sitting on the former line between Chichester and Midhurst it was built in 'Country House' style, with ample waiting room for passengers.
