Especially in Central and North Lombok on the slopes of the active Mount Rinjani volcano you will find many breathtaking waterfalls. June 30, 2023 INDONESIA Lombok is waterfall heaven. Not only will you find some of the most incredible and unique waterfalls in all of Indonesia but you will find A LOT of them. Because of the volcanic landscape and steep nature of Lombok, it has hundreds of waterfalls strewn across the island. Rising up to 42 meters, the Kelep is a rather powerful waterfall that will spray you with refreshing cold water even if you're standing far. It's one of the best Lombok waterfalls for a dip and the water is quite chilly to help you beat the summer heat of Indonesia. One of the most popular waterfall destinations on Lombok is Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep, located in Senaru village at the base of Mount Rinjani. These twin waterfalls offer a mesmerizing sight as the water cascades down from a height of over 30 meters into a shallow pool below.
