Pico del Cielo, Nerja, boasts the absolute best 360 views on this part of Costa del Sol, but it's also one of the most unforgiving peaks you'll come across in Malaga. This trail goes to the Pico del Cielo, from where it is possible to enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the sea and the Axarquia region. The surroundings of this peak were where some of the most brutal battles between civil guards and maquis took place. It is not recommended to do this trail in summer, as there are no shade or water sources.
