Jun. 2021. We booked a site and spent a few nights in Asessippi Provincial Park. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, Manitobans were allowed to camp with their households while following precautions. Not all campers/park staff followed the guidelines of mask wearing in required areas (signs posted) and a camp site had 7 vehicles parked at it. Asessippi Provincial Park is located 370km Northwest of Winnipeg, close to Riding Mountain National Park. The area is beautiful, with rolling hills and valleys, and Lake of the Prairies at its center. It's a great place to disconnect and spend time outdoors! Campsites: See the campground map here.
