Heat olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add beef and cook, flipping once, until browned, about 3-4 minutes; set aside. Prepare linguini noodles according to package directions. While noodles are cooking, heat 2 teaspoons oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add steak slices, discarding excess marinade. Stir-fry until just browned, remove steak from skillet and set aside. Combine sauce ingredients except corn starch in a bowl and stir well. Turn the heat up to medium-high and add the sauce. Set the rest of the marinade aside. Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add canola oil to pan and heat for 30 seconds then add the beef. Stir fry for 1 minute, remove beef from pan into a small bowl and set aside. Next add the onions into the same pan, stir fry for 1 minute. Add the bean sprouts onto the onions and stir fry for 30 seconds.
