Cache Lake is the #8 canoe access point in the park, but it is also where visitors to the Barlett Lodge park while staying across the lake. There is also a short self-guided interpretive walk that features signs and the remains of the railroad and the Highland Inn. The first panel gives a fantastic view of what the area looked like "in its prime". Lake of Two Rivers The panorama that unfolds as Highway 60 twists and turns around Lake of Two Rivers is a highlight of any fall-colours drive in Algonquin Park. Not to be confused with Debit Lake Prior to this trip I had been to Cache Lake a number of times, but always just for dinner at Bartlett Lodge (which I can't recommend enough). Bartlett is on the first island across from the Cache Lake parking lot, little more than a 30 second boat ride away. From here, you will keep left along the trail for 1.0 km, climbing gently uphill through the forest until you arrive at the shores of Grant Lake. Enjoy the scenic views across the water and continue along the forested trail to the northwest for another 1.9 km, where you will arrive back at the car park having completed the Track and Tower Trail.

The Two Rivers Trail is located along the Highway 60 corridor. This 2.1-kilometre loop trail takes about 1 hour and is considered moderate to difficult.
