El Nicho is best known for its large waterfall. The waterfall is attractive and flows throughout the year, even during the dry season. At the bottom of the falls there is a big natural pool where you can swim and splash around. There are several other smaller pools here as well. El Nicho is the name of a picturesque waterfall located just outside of Topes de Collantes National Park in Cuba's Cienfuegos province. There are three waterfalls during this tour of the El Nicho parkland. The first and the last are the most memorable. I recommend shoes which are comfortable and aren't likely to slip on wet surfaces. The waterfalls are great to watch, and they produce a loud white-noise sound. On the top of the bigger waterfalls, there are the natural pools where the water gets accumulated.
