A great hike, with awesome views. A bit icy on the switchbacks around the back of Lake Agnes up to Big Beehive, so take crampons. We subbed out Little Beehive for the big one. The view at the top is well worth the detour. Very quiet on the final part of the trail, after the Big Beehive and back towards mirror lake, before meeting the crowds again. Little Beehive via Lake Agnes Trail runs from Louise Lake to the summit of the Little Beehive. The top of the mountain offers a beautiful view of Banff National Park and Lake Louise. We deviated from the main trail and took that trail to go to the Little Beehive and from the Little Beehive, rather than go back to the initial trail, took a more direct trail to Lake Agnes.
