Mystic Beach is a beautiful beach located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, roughly 40 minutes north of Sooke. Imagine settling into a nook by your fire and drinking in the darkening ocean. The stars sparkle and waves crash mere meters from your campsite. Mystic Beach is hands-down one of the best hikes on Vancouver Island, and it should definitely be added to your Vancouver Island bucket-list. This beach is most well known for its coastal beach waterfall that flows right into the ocean and is a must-see if you're visiting Victoria or road-tripping Vancouver Island. Juan de Fuca Park on the west coast of southern Vancouver Island offers scenic beauty, spectacular hiking, marine and wildlife viewing, and roaring surf in its course along the Pacific coastline of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Mystic beach is located about 75 km from Victoria on Vancouver Island. The drive along highway 14 is incredibly scenic, however, with only single lane driving and an abundance of construction in the summer months, you may want to budget some extra time for the drive. I would say the drive will probably take you close to 1.5 hours.
