Northern Lights RV Resort is a membership-based campground located in the Boreal Forest of Northern Alberta, within Smoky Lake County. Situated on 160 acres of land on HWY 652 west of Hamlin, our Resort is located 1.5 hours north-east of Edmonton. Northern Lights RV Park has 92 sites that are fully serviced with P/W/S (30 and 50 AMP), WiFi, and TV. Learn More >> Rainy River No low hanging limbs to worry about. The roads are wide makeing maneuvering easy. Clean restrooms. Very nice and attentive hosts and grounds keepers. Each camp area has a fire ring and picnic table. The cost came out to $28 per day utilities included. We camped at Niagara County Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel. The northern lights are poised to grace the skies with resplendent displays (the best in two decades) courtesy of the sun's upcoming "solar maximum" phase peaking between January and October 2024.

It is $4 a day for the 50 amp service. Not all sites have sewer. All have electricity and water. The bath houses are very clean. It is a convenient location to both Niagara Falls and Buffalo. We camped at Niagara Lazy Lakes in a Fifth Wheel.
