We enjoyed exploring downtown Orillia as well as the neighboring provincial parks, Mara and McRae Point. I will say just driving though it seems as though Bass lake is the better of the three.. Bass Lake is one of the warmer lakes near Orillia, so it's a great place for extended swimming - especially for little ones. It's a short drive from.
