In very good condition, the cap badge has a tang style fastener, and the collars are both lugged and in good order. A fine QC era RCEME badge set of 3 pieces, getting harder to find these days. A fine example of the style of cap badge used in the Canadian army from 1954 to 1968, when the unification of the forces rendered it obsolete. RCEME was created primarily from the Engineering Branch of the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps. Ordnance Mechanical Engineers, artificers, and craftsmen from more than seventy RCOC, Royal Canadian Army Service Corps, and Royal Canadian Engineers trades were transferred to the new Corps of RCEME.
