Stony Hill is a quiet, peaceful walk with extraordinary views of Sansum Narrows. It's a clear, obvious paths that offers beautiful views. The trail is well marked at the beginning and end. There is an area that gets a little bit steep at one point and has some rocks and roots but is very doable for most skills levels. At about 2 km in length, the Stoney Hill trail takes just under an hour to hike and offers stunning vistas of the Gulf Islands. It's just long enough to get the blood flowing and short enough to be completed quickly. The Stoney Hill trail loop has several flat viewpoints perfect for a picnic lunch, a panoramic photo, or even a marriage proposal.
