At the end of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Odo returned to the Great Link and delivered the virus cure to the Founders. I always assumed this was part of the settlement after the war. raendrop • 4 yr. ago I don't think it's "great" as in "wonderful" (although they certainly do value it quite a bit) but "great" as in "large/all-encompassing". It's called the Great Link because all of them merge together into one big linked entity.
