Tunkwa Lake is made up of many bays, peninsulas and shallow patches at the north and south ends. Several streams feed the lake on the south side. Leighton also has many shallow bays, flats and 2 small islands on its east side. Both lakes offer excellent fishing. Tunkwa Lake Provincial Park is 14.5 km. (9 miles) north of the community of Logan. This is likely the nicest site we have ever visited. Situated right on Tunkwa lake this site offers a huge selection of places to camp whether you want to be in the middle of a stand of trees or right on the lake, this is perfect for everyone. This entire area is very open with a number of safe roads running through and around the campgrounds.
