FOLLOW MARKET The Ferrari 410 Superamerica was first introduced in 1955. The engine, based on a single plug 410 S powerplant, was now up to 5.0 L with 340 PS (250 kW; 335 hp) at 6,000 rpm produced thanks to triple Weber 40DCF carburettors. Ferrari 410 Superamerica Series III At the 1958 Paris Motor Show, Pinin Farina debuted the new face of Ferrari luxury. On their stand was the Superamerica Series III prototype with new features such as covered headlights, C-panel louvers and an elongated egg-crate grill. The 1956 Ferrari Superamerica "Superfast 1" chassis 0483SA, owned by Anne Brockinton Lee, is one of four four special-bodied prototypes for the 410 Superamerica and the only 410 Superamerica prototype by Pininfarina. The car recently rolled out of a multi-year restoration that brought it back to its original glory. The 410 Superamerica was a replacement for the outgoing 4.5-litre 375 America, ten of which were produced between late 1953 and spring 1955. Additionally, two 375 America conversions had been carried out by the factory on 250 Europas. As for the new 410 Superamerica, 35 were built in three series between late 1955 and summer 1959.

Owned by Anne Brockinton Lee, the super-rare 1956 Ferrari had just completed a multi-year restoration. It's truly one-of-a-kind, the only 410 Superamerica with a 4.9-liter Lampredi V12 engine with twin ignition and 24 spark plugs. The Wamsers enjoyed the 410 for nearly two decades, frequently presenting the car at Midwestern FCA meets through the 1980s and early 1990s, and during this period the car was also featured in Dyke Ridgley's 1983 monograph Ferrari 410 Superamerica Series III, an essential source on these rare Ferraris.
