Kauai's Glass Beach is in the middle of an industrial area near Port Allen Harbor in Eleele. There aren't any signs for this place, but it's easy to find. Just look for the large gasoline tanks near Port Allen. Once you arrive, you see a spectacular sight: a shoreline covered with millions of brown, aqua, clear, and blue sea glass pebbles. Although the colorful sea glass is definitely the main attraction, Glass Beach is great for sandy strolls at sunrise and sunset. Picnics are a terrific idea, too, as it's always a delight to dine while enjoying the beautiful view. Kauai's sea-glass beach. a block away from the marina, its great to wander after a day on a catamaran at Captain Andy's. I didn't rate it higher because I didn't find any large pieces, but its a treasure hunt, so maybe I'll have been luck next time. Tons of smaller pieces mixed in the sand, just like the picture.
