About This Exhibition Co-organized by San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) and Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA), this comprehensive retrospective brings together an array of paintings, drawings, and prints from public and private collections in the U.S. and Europe. In June, the 2021 Joan Mitchell Fellows gathered for a three-day convening at the Joan Mitchell Center. The Fellows engaged in dialogue around financial management, legacy planning, and other topics, learning together and exchanging experiences in each artist's path to career sustainability.
