Karon Viewpoint is located just to the south of Kata Noi Beach. Karon Beach, or Hat Karon as it is called in Thai, is a stunning 3,5-km long beach with super soft white sand and clear turquoise sea. The sand makes this funny squeaky sound when you walk on it, which I find quite amusing. Just try it out yourself, and you will see what I mean. 🙂 Karon View Point is the highest point up from Kata Beach. When you arrive, there is a set of stairs and a mural looking building where you can look over the 3 beaches. It is a lovely green, leafy spot full of trees and birds. There are binoculars where you can look out further across Phuket island.
