Then I go down his vampire magic skill tree, getting nehek, the zombie summon, wind of death, magic reserve and arcane conduit etc as vamp magic is amazingly powerful. I read the Von Carstein/Vampire Wars trilogy by Steven Savile back in December and January and I thought that Mannfred would end up being one of the most threatening villains in the trilogy, but I found him disappointing.
