As we were staying on Formentera for 2 weeks, we spent most of the time cycling to all the stunning beaches around the island. Playa de Llevant was just one of them. We cycled from Es Calo and although about 20km, it was great to finally get to the beach and cool off in the warm clear water. Llevant Ideal to relax and enjoy a landscape almost devoid of buildings. The fame of Illetes may overshadow the other beaches that make up the Natural Park of Eivissa and Formentera, but the neighbouring Llevant beach is just as impressive. Playa Llevant is four kilometres from the port of La Savina, the arrival point for ferries from Ibiza, among other places, and is easy to reach from there. The beach is part of the natural park that occupies large parts of the northern tip of the island. The entrance to the park is subject to a fee.
