The Yamaha Virago, introduced in 1981, was the company's first V-twin cruiser. While the XV750 version is the most common, the bikes were offered in a vast range of sizes over the years, including the Virago XV250, XV500, XV535, XV1000, XV1100, and the XV920R. We are looking at the top 10 Virago Café Racers here, so it shouldn't be a surprise that Greg Hageman would have two in that list. The first thing that catches your eye on this beauty is the gas tank. The 1973 RD350 unit has been brought back to life and looks just right perched on the top tube.

Just to prove that size doesn't always matter, here's a Virago Café Racer based on the humble Yamaha 535. This Virago was a project developed for season two of Cafe Racer TV which is currently airing in the states. Built by Greg Hageman from Docs Chops the 80's Virago underwent a full ground up facelift to achieve it's now jaw-dropping good looks.
