The Devil Probably ( French: Le Diable probablement) is a 1977 French drama film by director Robert Bresson. It was entered into the 27th Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Silver Bear - Special Jury Prize. [1] German film director Rainer Werner Fassbinder was on that particular jury, and championed Bresson's film: 1 Video 73 Photos Drama Charles drifts through politics, religion and psychoanalysis, rejecting them all. Once he realises the depth of his disgust with the moral and physical decline of the society he lives in, he decides that suicide is the only option.
