The area is bounded by the Liffey to the north, Dame Street to the south, Westmoreland Street to the east and Fishamble Street to the west. A Dublin institution that dates back to 1840, the Temple Bar is a traditional pub offering a good showcase of Irish culture. The pub hosts daily live music sessions, alongside over 450 different kinds of whiskeys—making up Ireland's largest whisky collection. Relax with a drink, and take a photo with the bronze James Joyce statue. Temple Bar is virtually synonymous with having a good time in Dublin.
