I'm hoping to shoehorn a M62B46 under the bonnet, and I have a few questions - hopefully someone who has swapped a BMW V8 in their e46 can help. Older Bimmers have become favorites for performance builds, including in some wild drift projects that drop in massive engines, but this E46 convertible out of Romania takes the cake with a supercharged BMW V8 swapped in under the hood and an all-wheel-drive conversion performed for good measure. I don't forsee fitment or mechanics to be an issue, however, other knowledgeable people I have asked all point out that eclectronics will be an issue as they have essentially cockblocked other v8 swaps in E46's in.

The differences in the electronics are enormous. The DME will have to be changed along with the entire wiring harness.
