That's the one I usually take. Besides, Morrigan doesn't believe "killing" her will actually result in her death anyway, so no harm no foul. If you kill flemeth or not- you still get the grimoire and the robe. Also morrigan doesn't say anything to your decision- she's happy nonetheless, and prepares herself for a Flemeth return. She.

DA:O/Awakening. There was this quest in Origins that Morrigan discovers her mother Flemeth's secret that she basically body jumps to her children to keep herself alive. So Morrigan asks you to kill her. When I was playing I remebered being like "Whatever, don't include me in you family feud", and having to fight an overly-powered Flemeth. I tried to kill Flemeth but had to reload quite quickly and from there picking the other choice seemed like the unproblematic option. Noxluxe. She did save the Wardens from the darkspawn in the tower at Ostagar, so there is a sort of debt there that is poorly repaid by coming back and killing her. So, did you trust Morrigan enough to kill Flemeth from a ROLEPLAYING standpoint? (Seriously, there are too many metagaming responses.) Edit: people bring up Zevran and Leliana as comparisons and I agree that both were shady given their (previous) line of work. But neither of them asked you to kill for them.

[deleted] • 3 yr. ago I'd say she fought us at whatever she was capable of at that point in time. She's probably been stronger at certain junctures, but I see no reason to let us kill her. Serafisenba • 3 yr. ago She doesn't die for real, so for her it feels liek it was toying with us and Morrigan. 1 Walkthrough 1.1 Allow Flemeth to flee 1.2 Kill Flemeth 2 Result 3 Notes Walkthrough The quest begins when Morrigan's approval is high enough and she asks the Warden to look for the Black Grimoire that was taken from Flemeth long ago. She believes it may still be in the Circle Tower. 3. Yes - a ranged party can take Flemeth without any mages, but it will require high fire resistance. See this wiki article on strategies to defeat Flemeth. I recommend getting Wades Superior Dragonbone Plate for whoever is tanking (very high fire resistance) and using other fire resistance boosting gear for the remainder of the party. Pirateking2000 13 years ago #1 So I gave Morrigan the grimoire and after awhile I came back to camp and she tells me how Flemeth is really just using her to attain immortality (aka Flemeth will.
Berry🍉 on Twitter "RT Despotism_3k Hey KIWF_Game, congratulations on the sequel announcement
You know, though, that Flemeth will still eventually possess Morrigan, since that becomes plain from the dialogue with Flemeth. I almost took the option of accepting Flemeth's "offer" but for RP reasons, I just did not feel right about this, changed my mind, and decided to kill her anyway. Flemeth was going to inhabit her daughters body as she had done many times before, the mother, just like the daughter, heartless/ cruel. You have to be blind not to see that Morrigan's interest is only one thing: Power; and you handing her her mother's Grimoire gave her just that- The ability to extend her life the same way her mother did.
11 pixielf • 7 yr. ago If you refuse the quest, then Morrigan leaves the party spoiler. As far as I can tell, there isn't any difference (other than party approval) for the two options. Either you kill Flemeth (and you don't see her again) or allow her to flee (and you don't see her again). spoiler Hopefully I got those spoiler tags right. Background. Morrigan is the daughter of Flemeth, the legendary Witch of the Wilds who has reputedly given birth to scores of daughters and has lived for centuries, though Morrigan is unwilling or unable to confirm Flemeth's true origins.Whatever Flemeth's history, Morrigan was raised by her in isolation from civilization. Flemeth instilled a distrust of humankind in Morrigan, strictly.

Flemeth: To kill or not to kill.. GnosticWytch 12 years ago #1 In DA:Origins you are given the choice to kill Flemeth or take the Grimoire and let her go. Does that choice have any. 29 Th3_Shad0w Knight Enchanter • 1 yr. ago Sorry for stealing OP's post but, I've gone for an evil/arsehole route this time around and never picked up Wynn, and don't have any mages beside Morrigan. What should I do against Flemeth? Since my party is basically crippled without Morrigan. 8 Meku-Meku Blood Mage/Battlemage/Rift Mage • 1 yr. ago
