Time moves slower, the air is fresher and life seems simpler.I'm sure the reality of living here is quite different but for a little weekend getaway it's absolute bliss. Rode the Kufstein Kaiserlift to top station and hiked to Kaindl hut for lunch. Lovely views of forest, mountain and pasture.. Inntal hiking Austria / Germany.. and tirol is fab . the best thing is the mountains are rolling alps up to 1500M not really high alps so its possible with average experience to do lots of safe exploring all round.
