We converted a 2WD Volkswagen LT into a 4WD. This can be done with most leafspring typ vans and campers. How cool it it to turn your Volkwagen or Mercedes v. LT45 in various forms and shapes are very few and far between. Dont to mention the LT45 4x4, its virtually non-existant. BUT I actually saw one some weeks ago in the traffic (spotted the front diff). .. Thats like the second I ever saw around here.
