Subwoofer install 2020 Mazda 6. Does anyone know if installing a subwoofer will void manufacture warranty? I don't think it will but would love to know before hand. The Bose system lacks a lot of punch and having the 8" woofers vibrating your leg and the door mirrors isn't exactly ideal.. Custom subwoofer enclosure for Mazda 6! No audio system is complete without a subwoofer, and this one is no exception! This particular vehicle, however, needed to be able to retain as much of the usable trunk space as possible for strollers and groceries. From there I Replaced the wimpy factory 1" tweeters with 3.5 inch speakers with 1" tweeters in the center (the touring trim has an extra mounting point for the gt size speakers) and replaced both the front and rear door speakers with kicker cs series (6.5 front 6.75 rear) and it was significant better.
