It's too real, not all grown men are able to toss logic from the window for an underage love interest, Shishio was insecure, prideful and scared of ruining his future as well as Suzume's future. He only woke up when he saw her feelings go in Precious Mamura's direction.

That is, until Suzume spots a guy who looks a lot like Mr. Shishio. Finally, the time has come for Suzume to confront her feelings once and for all. May 16, 2022 First off Suzume's confession in the beginning was so freaking adorable. I love seeing her relationship with Mamura starting to develop and go through that little awkward phase. Overall really enjoying what they have so far and seeing Suzume work through it is actually very interesting. Least favorite part of this book is Mr. Shishio.
