Reminiscent of a Gothic castle and decorated with distinctive Zsolnay tiling, the red-brick Reformed Church on Szilágyi Dezső tér shows the genius of architect Samu Pecz. This recently renovated 125-year-old landmark was the first Reformed church in Buda, and the scene of several events involving famous Hungarians. Inside, the sunlight streams in through the Gothic arched and rose windows onto the church's light-coloured walls. The interior furnishings and pews were also made on the basis of the architect's plans, thus achieving a perfect match between the styles of the exterior and interior design.
