Sean Mackin (born April 30, 1979) is an American rock musician. He is best known as the violinist and backing vocalist for the American rock band Yellowcard . Early life Mackin attended Florida State University majoring in electrical engineering and international business. He is a member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. Yellowcard is an American rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997. The lineup currently consists of lead singer Ryan Key, lead guitarist Ryan Mendez, bassist Josh Portman and violinist Sean Mackin.
