Steps. Place the rice in a colander and rinse with running water. Drain. Then add the rice to a saucepan. Soak the rice in 2½ cups of water for 20-30 minutes. Next, place the saucepan over a medium heat and loosely cover with a lid. Cook for 12-15 minutes or until the water has evaporated and the rice is tender. Directions: Place ginger, soy sauce, chilli, garlic, sesame oil, honey and mirin into a large bowl and mix. Add the beef to the bowl of marinade and let it sit for 1-2 hours to marinate. Set aside.In a large wok or skillet, over medium high heat, add oil. When oil is hot enough in one minute, stir fry garlic, ginger, onions for 1 to 2 minutes.Add beef slices to skillet. Method. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and ginger, cook for 20 seconds. Add the beef mince and cook, breaking it up with the back of a wooden spoon, for 5 minutes until browned. Reduce heat and add teriyaki marinade. Add the sugar snap peas, capsicum and stir to mix evenly. Simmer, uncovered, for 2-3 minutes. Heat oil in large skillet over heat; add beef and saute 1-2 minutes. Add teriyaki sauce mixture. Continue to cook, stirring, about 1 minute, or until sauce boils and thickens slightly. Spoon beef and sauce over rice in large individual serving bowls. Serve vegetables on the side, if desired. Keep warm. In four separate bowls, plate a rice base of ⅓ cup, followed by 4 ounces of the crumbled Trifecta beef, ½ cup of broccoli, ¼ cup of the carrot matchsticks, and 2 tablespoons of the Teriyaki sauce.
