Sep 8, 2010. The PDF needs some errata. Particularly addressing the Chinaman role and the mine. The chinaman's power applies to ALL buildings (according to the rules that came in my box (2nd Ed.)). The PDF states "any building" which led to much confusion through its ambiguous nature. The 2nd Ed. rules also EXCLUDES the mine as a building that. The game board has been redesigned and updated to support a sixth player and the Horses & Heroes expansion. Overview Players participate in the development of Carson City in the North American Wild West. They hire a certain number of cowboys and use them to claim actions and buy up the best parcels of land. Players then construct buildings and try to generate cash, both of which can be turned into victory points. The game is played over two Eras, each of which takes place over 9 rounds. The dealer draws 1 character and 4 terrain cards and places them below the draw piles, in a face-up column. (5 terrain cards with 5-6 players) Each player secretly chooses an auction card from his or her hand and places it face-down.
