Rück's blue flycatcher ( Cyornis ruckii) is a passerine bird in the Old World flycatcher family Muscicapidae. It is known from only four specimens and is endemic to a small area in northeast Sumatra, Indonesia, inhabiting primary lowland forest. Little-known flycatcher documented only from logged lowland forest around Medan, in northern Sumatra. Male bright royal blue, with a white belly and limited pale patch on the forehead. Female cinnamon-brown, with buffy belly and orangish chest and tail. Similar to White-tailed Flycatcher, but note Rück's lack of any white in the tail, less extensive pale forehead patch in male, and warmer.
