Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr ibn Ḥarām al-Anṣārī ( Arabic: جابر بن عبدالله بن عمرو بن حرام الأنصاري, died 697 CE/78 AH), Abu Muhammad and Abu Abd al-Rahman also wrote his nickname [1] was a prominent companion of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. [1] Jarir bin Abdullah had a different place in the eye of the Prophet. He complimented Jarir by saying, "Jarir is from us, from Ahl al-Bayt." [2]. Jareer Bin Abdullah In the holy month of Ramadan of either 9th or 10th AH, the Beloved Rasool صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was sitting in Masjid-e-Nabawi, in the meantime, a caravan of 150 people from Yemen reached near Madinah for embracing Islam. Abdullaah had many daughters; he ordered his only son to take care of them, and did not allow him to join the fighters. The Muslims returned defeated from that battle and lost a great number of men. Abdullah Ibn 'Amr was among the martyred. Jarir bin 'Abdullah narrated: There was a house called Dhul-Khalasa in the Pre-lslamic Period and it was also called Al-Ka'ba Al-Yamaniya or Al-Ka'ba Ash-Shamiya. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to me, "Will you relieve me from Dhul-Khalasa?" Jarir bin 'Abdullah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were with Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) shortly after dawn when there came to him some people clad in woollen rags, or covered with sleeveless blankets; and with swords hanging down from their necks. Most of them rather, all of them, belonged to the Mudar tribe.
