Hi everyone, I am going to Lauban Bajo next week and am debating if I should do a dive or just snorkel at Manta Point. I am PADI certified so would like to use it, but ts far I have been quoted 10,5 mill IDR for a day trip to Komodo, Padar, Pink beach and a dive but the same trip with snorkel is only 150k. Manta Point is one of the most famous sites for diving near Labuan Bajo. This is the place where I met turtles talking to manta rays… But more seriously it is one of the best Komodo Island diving sites. The reason Manta Point is so popular is the strong nutrient rich current that flows through the strait that attracts large schools of Manta Rays.
