“All of My Ummah will be Excused, Except for Those who Make Their Sins

Then he raised his hands and said: O Lord, my Ummah, my Ummah, and wept; so Allah the High and the Exalted said: O Gabriel, go to Muhammad (though your Lord knows it fully well) and ask him: What makes thee weep?

The Messenger of Allah said: The most merciful of my Ummah towards my Ummah is Abu Bakr; the one who adheres most sternly to the religion of Allah is 'Umar; the most sincere of them in shyness and modesty is 'Uthman; the best judge is 'Ali bin Abu Talib; the best in reciting the Book of Allah is Ubayy bin Ka'b; the most knowledgeable of what is. Sakhr ibn Wadā'ah al-Ghāmidi (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, bless the early morning hours for my Ummah." Whenever the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) sent a detachment or an army, he would send them at the early morning time. Nabi (sallallahu'alayhi wasallam) said:'My Ummah is one that enjoys [Allah's] mercy. It will not be punished in the Hereafter. Its [share of] punishment is in the world in the form of trials, earthquakes and killings.'Please explain sheikh who come under Ummah in this hadith. 1 The Book of Faith (74) Chapter: The night journey on which the messenger of Allah (saws) was taken up into the heavens and the prayers were enjoined (74) باب الإِسْرَاءِ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى السَّمَوَاتِ وَفَرْضِ الصَّلَوَاتِ ‏‏ It is narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

The Prophet (ﷺ) recites these two verses, which are prophets making dua for their Ummah and starts thinking of his own Ummah. He raises his hands to Allah, and he says, Ya, Allah My Ummah, and he begins to cry, thinking about his Ummah. So Allah (SWT) told Jibreel (AS) to go to Muhammad and ask him why he is crying?, although Allah knew why. Nabi (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) then raised his hands and said, 'O Allah, My Ummah O Allah My Ummah. Allah Ta'ala then said, 'O Jibril! Go to Muhammad -and your Rabb knows fully well- and ask him, 'What makes you weep'? So Jibril ('alayhis salam) came to Nabi (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and asked him. The Prophet says that Allah brought the corners of the earth together for him, so he could see the kingdom of his Ummah from east to west. This is a true historical fact; Muslims did expand from the Far West to the Far East. The Prophet also said that he was given two treasures. Explanation. Ka'b ibn 'Iyad (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Every Ummah has a trial, and the trial of my Ummah is wealth." This is a test for people, as wealth distracts one away from acts of worship and makes one forget the Hereafter.

Answer. 'Allamah Munawi (rahimahullah) explains that Ummah here refers to 'The 'Ulama [Scholars] of the Ummah'.
