Momoshiki Otsutsuki (Japanese: 大筒木 モモシキ, Hepburn: Ōtsutsuki Momoshiki) is a fictional character, first introduced in Pierrot's 2015 anime film, Boruto: Naruto the Movie which acts as a sequel to Masashi Kishimoto's manga Naruto.A descendant of Otsutsuki and the series' villain Kaguya, Momoshiki appears in the film as the antagonist, searching to plant a Divine Tree in the world. The Ōtsutsuki Clan is an ancient clan of celestial beings, from which the Byakugan descends. After arriving from space in order to cultivate a Divine Tree on Earth, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki defected from the clan, resulting in the eventual lineage of the Uchiha, Senju, Uzumaki, and Hyuga clans. The status of the clan beyond Earth is unknown. As a parasitic species they have spent thousands of years. In Boruto's case, his Karma seal marks him as the chosen vessel of Momoshiki Otsutsuki, who Boruto destroyed in one of the manga's earliest arcs. The confirmation comes in a nice little scene.
