This helpful guide will teach you how to use VIU's logo, correct fonts, create an email signature and more. VIU's brand is a significant piece of VIU's reputation. VIU's official logo is a trademarked item and altering it in ways not sanctioned within these guidelines contravenes the trademark. Posters and displays must feature the VIU logo. Please follow the guidelines below for appropriate use. Dos and Don'ts: Don't crowd the logo with text or other graphic elements—follow the guidelines for free space. The logo uses VIU's official type family Proxima Nova in two weights, bold for the text 'Vancouver Island' and semibold for the text 'University'. Logo knockouts In some circumstances it may be appropriate to use the icon and text of VIU's logo without the standard white or blue background.
