Lord Shiva here is called by the name "Chintaharana Mahadev". He is Svayambhu Shivlinga (not man-made but appeared by itself) with another 1000 small Shivlinga. He came here from Mount Kailash for the darshan of Baby Krishna. But Mother Yashoda refused to show his dear son to him. Chintaharan Ghat is one of the famous ghat on bank of holy river Yamuna in Gokul near Brahmand Ghat and houses the Chintaharan Mahadev temple of Chinteshwar Mahadev Temple.
