Which is the correct way to write "elen síla lúmenn' omentielvo"? I was recently attempting to write out the Quenya greeting "elen síla lúmenn' omentielvo" in the Tengwar. When I went to the internet to double check my work, I realized that there were multiple versions that all looked a little different: Multiple vowels (like this: AA) stand for the length of time the vowel is said. (A) is always pronounced like the A in "f ther". (E) is pronounced like the E in "b t". When (E) is long, (written ee/EE) it is said for a longer period of time, and pronounced like the A in "l ke". (I) is always pronounced like the I in "mach ne".
