Gunung Kawi Temple popularly known as The Valley of The Balinese Kings is an 11th-century temple and funerary complex in Tampaksiring [1] : 180 north east of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia ., [2] that is spread across either side of the Pakerisan river. Gunung Kawi is a neat glimpse into ancient Indonesian civilization, and the river and jungle add to an overall atmosphere that's just special. You feel like you're stepping back in time.
