The Piscina Comunale Costoli is the biggest and best equipped pool center in Florence. It has three outdoor pools, an Olympic sized one and a smaller one perfect for children as well as adults. The third is a mid.sized one and has a diving platform! The closest beaches to Florence are to the west, on the Ligurian Sea and Tyrrhenian Sea ( Mar Ligure and Mar Tirreno ).
